IFMSA-Jo Program Activities

Mental Health Projects

01

Minds Matter Project

Minds Matter is a three-step awareness project creating safe spaces for discussion, increasing understanding and encouraging people to seek support. It began with an interactive painting workshop and open discussion with a mental-health survivor and specialist, continued with a visit to the Médecins Sans Frontières psychology clinic, and concluded with a social-media campaign advocating for medical-student mental health and sharing practical wellbeing guidance.

02

MindWell Project

MindWell supports the wellbeing of medical students by addressing stress, burnout and academic pressure. Awareness activities encourage self-care, build resilience and highlight the importance of prioritizing mental health.

03

Faded Minds Project

Faded Minds increases awareness and reduces stigma around mental illness while helping affected people begin their healing process. Its work has included a fundraising hike in Ajloun, a suicide-prevention social-media reel and a stress-management webinar organized with Arab Therapy.
