EMR22
From 22 June to 2 July 2026, Jordan welcomed medical students and young health leaders from across the Eastern Mediterranean for the 22nd Eastern Mediterranean Regional Meeting, hosted by IFMSA-Jo.
EMR22 brought the region together for approximately ten days of learning, capacity building, collaboration, advocacy and cultural exchange. Participants joined Standing Committee sessions, workshops, leadership spaces, regional discussions and networking activities while the region celebrated its 25th anniversary with love, passion and commitment.
The meeting strengthened connections among National Member Organizations and created opportunities for future regional initiatives. Its cultural and social spaces celebrated the diversity and unity of the Eastern Mediterranean and allowed participants to build friendships beyond their organizational roles.
Hosting EMR22 was an important milestone for IFMSA-Jo. Its success reflected the dedication of the Organizing Committee, volunteers, facilitators, trainers, partners and everyone who contributed to a meaningful experience in Jordan.
