History

Founded in 2014 in the heart of the south, MULC was built by a group of driven medical students who chose to operate not merely as colleagues, but as a family. Over the years it has evolved from a bold step forward into a lasting legacy and a prominent body within IFMSA-Jo, characterized by its dynamic presence across all Standing Committees.

Vision

To be a pioneering model of empowered student leadership where passion meets purpose, transforming ambition into achievement and setting the standard for excellence in the medical community.

Mission

To foster a family of driven medical students who act as advocates, educators and leaders. Through professionalism, consistency and an uncompromising commitment to growth, MULC aims to translate vision into meaningful change and shape the communities it serves.

Objectives

  • Drive community impact through local and national initiatives that educate, advocate for and actively shape surrounding communities.
  • Represent with excellence as proud representatives of IFMSA-Jo, setting high standards that inspire others.
  • Empower student leaders through a platform that helps medical students grow from future healthcare providers into influential leaders and change-makers.
  • Maintain operational consistency and a dynamic, influential presence across all Standing Committees through every project and milestone.
